Have you ever helped your mom or dad carry a heavy grocery bag into the house?
Your dad is strong enough to carry all ten bags by himself in one trip without any problem! But because he loves you, he smiles, hands you the smallest bag, and says, "Here, help me bring this in." You aren't doing it because your dad is weak; you are doing it because he loves including you in his work.

That is how Redemptive Suffering works:
Jesus Did the Big Work: When Jesus died on the Cross, He earned all the grace and forgiveness the world could ever need. His sacrifice was 100% complete!
He Invites Us to Help: Even though Jesus doesn't need our help, He loves us so much that He lets us carry a tiny portion of the load with Him.
Offering It Up: When you have a stomachache, feel left out on the playground, or have to do a chore you dislike, you can whisper a simple prayer: "Jesus, I offer this pain to You. Please use it to help someone who is sad or sick today."
When we give our hard moments to Jesus instead of just grumbling, our pain stops being useless. It turns into a gold coin of love that Jesus uses to bless the whole world!
💬 Talk About It
Why do you think a loving parent lets their child help carry things even when the parent could do it faster alone?
What is a small daily trial (like waiting patiently or being sore after sports) that you can "offer up" to Jesus this week?
📜 Memory Verse
